Visit Malaysia 2007

I heard about the Eye On Malaysia from both my friends and the papers, I had been wanting to go since quite some time ago, and, today, finally, I went, an unplanned trip. Moreover, it’s Visit Malaysia 2007, as a Malaysian, the more reasons I should get my ass there. I used to write about picnic stories in Taman Titiwangsa when I was primary school. Taman Titiwangsa is like the default place in KL for a family day trip on Sunday as always written in the textbook.

It was not hard to find for first timer, as long as you know how to go to Setapak area, they have ONE signboard pointing you to the Eye when you are near the place. But, again, what’s the use of the signboard when you have managed to find the place? Typical Malaysian signboard.

When I was about to reach there, it started to drizzle. Damn. I went down car anyway since the drizzle is not going to kill me, or the camera. After finding a good spot, which was under a tree, I began to wonder at the Eye, it did not look like what I saw from the papers. The lights around the wheel were not as bright. But the fountain beside the Eye was beautiful, they actually project the clip on the fountain. Great indeed.

I think about 10pm, they annouced “Good Night”. So, I thought the lights were going off so early. Good news was they only shut down the fountain, and the Eye looked even brighter and more beautiful than early. Great! It’s just like what I saw from the papers!

Beside the wheel, there is this Eye Cafe, I wonder what’s going to happen to the EYE Cafe when the Eye is not there anymore, I heard this Eye is not permanently stationed in Malaysia. Taman Titiwangsa is a beautiful place, the Eye is over looking both our Petronas Twin Tower and National Library.

If you have never been to Taman Titiwangsa before, I think you should make a trip there. At least like, once a life time. ;)

Yesterday’s yesterday was my first try at fashion show. And I think I really sucked. For the first time, I felt so frustrated for being short. I am like.. the normal Asian height. Still short.

Uh…
I was standing on a ladder….compared to others standing on the ground or at the podium, I was’t TOO MUCH shorter… I was also using a monopod. And, check out the red circle in the picture, it was actually the photographer’s external flash in front of me blocking me. Damn!
Why am I so short :(

Due to the limitation of the monopod, I can’t level the camera higher, so… many of my shots were either too many disturbance in front or models’ head got cut off. Damn. And I think my composition was bad, must be the location I was standing. Damn. I sucked. :(

For more photos, can check out my Flickr. Photos posted have not been edited at all.

I went to the One-U fashion show and won myself a 50% Voucher for women’s secret. They had a show of their bras, panties, sleepwear and bikini. Yessh… this 50% can be used for a total bill.. which means, I can buy plenty of lingerie with 50% off!

Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodie!

Do you feel annoyed to be constantly surrounded by couples?

Like, you guys hang out together, 3 couples + you alone. No choice because you are the only single one among your friends. You watch them all being lovey dovey, touching around, kissing sometimes.. UH. Doesn’t that make you just feel like murdering all of them?

They would not be disturbed by your presence at all, because, there is no you in their eyes. But they are disturbing to you! Isn’t that annoying?

I had a instant rage to kill them all and swore never to linger among couples again. Gosh!
