June 2007

These are some backdated pictures but damn, I really feel like eating them now. Come to think about it, I am quite a frequent of Secret Recipe, I have tonnes of photos from there!

House Salad

This was the appetizer, I think it’s house salad or something, with cheese cubes! Priced at RM17.90, I think it’s quite good.

Lamb Stew

This is their award-winning lamb stew, the lamb was quite tender and it did not carry the typical ‘lamb smell’ at all. There was also a mountain of mashed potato. The sauce was good. I forgot the exact price, but I think it’s about RM25 or less.

Dori with lobster sauce

This was also good. It’s dori fish in lobster sauce. The sauce was nice, very appetizing. The whole combo was good, you wouldn’t feel like over bulging with this set. I think it’s <RM20.

Damn, I wanna go there now!

Friend

I met up with a friend of mine some time ago, I have known him for like (n+1) years. Sarcasm is our way of communication and yet we bear no hard feelings for each other.

Look at the fried noodles he was eating, I secretly wondered how it tasted. Can you guess who is he?

IBE

Why is it always too little time too little money? Life sucks. Both MNG sale and International Beauty Expo burnt quite some hole in my pocket. :(

One day, I went to jusco to buy some organic vege, I feel quite one kind when I had to buy organic stuff from ZenXin, which is quite an established group selling and planting organic stuff now. What’s ironic is, their farm is in Kluang! Which is only like 5 mins away from my house, and yet I had to buy them from shopping centre now. -_-. But I feel proud to support Kluang stuff.

I hope they are really making some money, my father knows the boss personally himself, and it seems hard to maintain the business as the expenditure is very very high. If you go to kluang one day, you should explore their farm!

By the way, if you are interested to get some cheap stuff for hair and face, hop over here to find out more about the International Beauty Expo. It’s the last day today!

Thank god it’s friday! Although TGI is tasty, but it’s bad for my pocket you see. I have to constantly search for food that is tasty but does not burn a big hole. I have to pay my own rental, petrol, food, clothes and shit. Ah, moneh moneh.

Kluang Station

Well, I was wandering in One-U last night thinking of what to eat. Totally ran out of idea, I decided to go Kluang Station. Now, I think they have like 2 or 3 brances in Klang Valley. I am from Kluang, but me is not a big fan of the Kluang Station, not even the authentic coffee shop at the Kluang railway station. Rumour has it that this Kluang Station is actually not owned by the original owner, instead, a relative of the original owner hijacked this name. But, how true it is, I do not know, it’s just a hearsay.

Shop

The environment there still maintains the old look of the station. I wonder why wouldn’t they give something like 10% off the bill when you show your IC that you are from Kluang. Sounds good to me I know.

Toast

This is actually what they are famous for, and coffee. But me not big fan of coffee as I don’t feel good after drinking it. This toast was good, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.  RM1.50 for 2 slices of bread.

Chicken Chop

Their menu has quite limited choices for food. They serve other food like nasi lemak set, chicken porridge, Kluang laksa…etc. Most people say this chicken chop is good. And, well, for the price of RM9.90, you can’t expect it to be perfect. The ketchup combination made the whole thing quite appetizing.

Fillet & wedges

This is some fish & wedges set, it looks a little pathetic. But it was tasty. I actually preferred this than the chicken. This is at RM8.30.

Well, I do not have much to say about this. What about you? As you can see, I am not a frequent there. I wonder why is it always packed to the max.
