Chinese New Year is around the corner again! I can’t believe it! I still remember seeing the sun eclipse last year, and it’s been a year already.
All collages are click-able for mega huge view.

I like how the culinary team in Prince Hotel always have creative ideas and surprise us. If you squint a bit (or click on the picture), you can see the deco of the plate in the top left corner prawn picture, it is food and art.
Master Chef Ricky is proud to showcase his dish!

Ying-Yang Yee Sang (Tuna and Salmon Roulade)
What’s Chinese New Year without the Yee Sang right? Did you see the rolls of salmon slices in picture?

Lou ah!!!Â
For health, wealth, and food!

Braised pearl shark fin’s with fish maw in supreme golden broth, Braised duck with dried fish maw and scallops
The soup was awesome, the broth was thick and very flavorful. I wish I had more
The braised duck was also one of the hit items of the night, we literally polished the plate!
My mom is a great cook too, and I think her braised duck can match this too. ^_^

The mega star of the night: Steamed cod fish with pickled radish and garlic in supreme soy sauce
I was so greedy I kept telling the guy who was serving to give me the biggest piece! The fish was thick and fresh, and the meat was so soft that it just melted in my mouth! Ahhh! Give me the fish and I will give you everything else.

Last Saturday, I spent quite some hours at the Prince Hotel Wedding Fair 2010. Why did I go there? For research of course.
When you want the best for what you can afford, you really need to spend some good time researching and sourcing.

The morning was kicked off with speeches, and lucky draw for the 52 couples who had held their wedding reception with Prince Hotel in year 2010. And guess what?! The grand prize winning couple had their WHOLE RECEPTION DINNER REFUNDED!!!
Completely FREE wedding!!!!
There is of course going to be lucky draw this year end too. Prince Hotel is the place to go for your wedding!

The showcase of Carven Ong’s evening gowns.

And the very elegant bridal gowns from Carven Ong. There was a 70% sale for some of the gowns too.

Carven Ong with models and the directors of Prince Hotel.
Dear Carven: Can I pinjam one of your dresses?

Showcase of wedding desserts from bigboysoven.com. Aren’t they cute?
I have ordered a wedding cake from them ^_^

The pretty witch! She was lucky enough to be dressed up! Makeup by bubblybrides.com and gown from De Rain Atelier. Love the makeup! Not over the top yet elegant. If you are getting married and looking for hair/makeup artist, do consider Bubbly Brides as everything is provided for at RM450 per session of bridal make-up and hairstyling, as well as a whole range of makeup services for special occasions.

I know traffic jam is a common sight in the cities….
but if it is because of some inconsiderate people, it is really freaking annoying!

The light had turned green TWICE and yet I was still stuck at the same spot!
Stupid bus drivers!!!!!
