It’s been a while since I last went to Mei Chi Xuan for the crabs. I miss crabs badly but I am watching my cholesterol. Just in case. I do not like a clogged artery anytime soon.
Crabs aside. They have launched some special dishes for Chinese New Year!

Hello CNY dishes!

Sea cucmber and seafood on a boat of dragon – RM150 onwards
See the beautiful carrot sculpture? It is amazing that how the chef could sculpt the dragon on a carrot! I usually struggle to even cut carrot into slices. If you have elderly in the family, I am sure they will love this!
Sea-cucumber contains zero cholesterol, even though it tastes like fatty pork.

Braised pork trotter with vegetables and lotus roots – RM28 onwards
Pork is not bad all the time, look at the companion of vegetables and lotus roots, it’s a healthy dish! I love lotus roots

Every chinese new year, I will help my parents to pack $$ into red packets. And I will also collect all the red packets I get from the banks, restaurants for them.
Sometimes the designs are really cute!

But I wonder why the red packets this year are all in the pink shades?
Red is an outdated color already?
Can you identify any merchants of the red packets ?

My colleague yani is always telling me how good Piccadilly is…and how reasonable the price of the food is. And I finally had the chance to go there for lunch!

The big menu. Just a brief intro – Piccadilly is a major London street, running from Hyde Park Corner in the west to Piccadilly Circus in the east.

Once you flip open the menu you can see all the football leagues logo all over the menu..and the food choices are huge!

Our drinks.

Not knowing what to eat, I ordered grilled chicken chop with mushroom sauce. And they switched fries to mashed potato for me without additional cost! Nice!

About 3 weeks ago, I was invited to explore Craft Brews @ Mutiara Damansara to have a taste of their beer, and pork ribs!
Delighted I was, beer and pork are seriously the best friends!

A very unique restaurant – just around the corner of traffic light with Tesco on your right.

Love the interior! See the pipes on the wall? It’s just decor but it really jazzed up the whole place.
And the glass interior makes the place feels spacious and relaxing.

The main ingredients for brewing beer…unfortunately, brewing your own liquor is illegal in Malaysia.
Thank god we can still pay to enjoy it.

See the colorful beers? First time I am seeing beer in green! The name is – Monster Green Lager, which the green is derived from spirulina. So..does it make the beer a healthier choice now? LOL.
The 2 color beers are from Singapore-based Reddot Brewhouse, English Ale and Monster Green Lager respectively. They are also the premium beer. Make sure that you try them out if you are ever there.
