March 2010

Finally I have done my first round of photo-shooting! (2nd round end of the month)

It’s been a tiring, hungry day. In total, I had 5 gowns, 5 makeups, 5 hairstyles and 6 hours in the indoor.

And….I was starving to death as I only ate a slice of bread in the morning!

Previously, I won a Canvas printing voucher from JonLow Studio from Princely Wedding Fair some time back. The voucher entitles me to print a 30″x20″ canvas photo for free! By the way, Jon takes some really fantastic photo, do check out his site.  This is the only photo I have now, so I am sending it for canvas printing. What do you think?

Don’t you love the colors of the ingredients?

Too bad I did not have a chance to taste it.

On the Chap Goh Mei, I spent my afternoon with Big Boys Oven at their live cooking demo with Samsung in Ikano Power Center. It was interesting. I have eaten their cakes and pastries many times before, but never had the chance of seeing them baking live.

Sidney & Sunny at work, preparing cute strawberry tartlets.

Create the mold, bake in Samsung microwave oven, then spread the custard.

The amazing thing with Samsung microwave oven is – you can even bake cake with it! It has the pre-heat function.

I always love 2-in-1 stuff. Space saving and economical :P

Look at the fresh berries!!! Love the tartlets. I didn’t know baking tarts was as easy as 1,2,3.

Singapore has been a fun and successful trip. Other than our main objective – watching the Chippendales, we had a bit of food and a lot of walking and shopping!

Hokkien mee and fried kuay teow @ Chinatown. Not bad at all!

I think Singapore has plenty of nice food too.

For dinner, we had frog porridge in Chinatown too.

And something caught my attention….do Singaporeans  love soy sauce a lot? I swear this is the largest soy sauce bottle I have ever seen at hawkers!
