Austin Chase is one of the coffee joint outlets in The Gardens.
It has similar concept to Starbucks, Coffeebean and etc.

But, what attracted to me was their Egg-cellent All Day Breakfast Deals!
All the set meals come with a free black coffee. But you can of course top up another RM5 to upgrade it to latte or frappe.

The bar where they prepare the beverages.

We ordered a set of Set 4 : Scrambled Egg with Hash Brown @ RM9.90.
For the hash brown lovers, you get 2 pieces of them!

Food Recipe[12] Comments
One of the days when I have nothing to do, I have the urge to cook up something for lunch or dinner as I totally run out of ideas what to eat out even with so many restaurants mushrooming.
I am proud to show you a recipe of luxurious pasta without breaking your arm of leg.

The ingredients for 2 pax:
- 4 slices of bacon sliced thinly, 1 sliced big onion, 1 diced tomato, tomato paste, herbs & spices (whatever you have at home), boiled pasta & olive oil.
I pre-cooked my pasta already and leave aside with olive oil added to prevent the spaghetti from clumping.

The spices I have at home: black pepper, rosemary & Italian herbs.

Now, pour in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat up the wok. Throw in the sliced onion and garlic, stir fry a little and pour in the diced tomato.
Continue to stir till the onion turns golden brown and you can see the tomato starting to become pasty. Then, pour in for about 3/4 can of the tomato paste. You can add some water and let it simmer for about 3-5 mins.
Heat up a non-stick pan on the side (if you have more than 1 stove), pan-fry the bacon a little, and fry the sausages.

After all the hype about Nintendo-Wii, finally Sony PS3 has motion sensor game too!
Proudly showing – PlayStation 3 Move. We got our hands on this promo starter pack at only RM295, including a Move controller (which looks like a microphone), a camera with speakers, and a full version game for free!

In the Start the Party game, there is a mode called Survival which includes different mini games till the meter runs out. You have to hold the Move controller in hand, and the camera will be capturing your motion as if you are really in the game itself.

Food[13] Comments
Over the short weekend, I had a trip to Malacca with my girl friends, for food and fun.
We basically did not do much other than stuffing ourselves silly, which we had 5 stops within 2 meals.
The dinner:
1. Fried Carrot Cake @ Jalan Bunga Raya

We wanted to have some cholesterol surge and decided to stop by Jalan Bunga Raya for the famous night cockles stall.
Before we even stepped into the alley itself, we were attracted to this fried carrot cake. Without much hesitation, we placed our order.

Fried carrot cake with extra sambal and extra egg @ RM3.50. I thought the price was quite decent. I lurrrveee the egg and the choi-pok in the fried carrot cake! If only they can just sell carrot cake without the carrot cake.
2. Cockles Stall @ Jalan Bunga Raya

We arrived just in time before the crowd started pouring in.
To be honest, I felt rather gross staring at the mouldy and blackish walls while I was cracking the cockles. But fortunately I somehow conquered my fear with gluttony.

I love the sauce as it is a mixture of blended peanuts, lime, soysauce and sambal. Unique well with the cockles
The cockles and la-la is RM1.50/plate. I don’t find the la-la as good as the cockles though.
3. Satay Celup Ban Lee Siang @ Jalan Ong Kim Wee

Needless to say, it is the hotspot for satay celup with the red @ RM0.50/stick and the white @ RM0.60/stick.
I have been there few times myself and I somehow felt that their variety has shrunk! Used to have a lot more back then. The plus point is, all the food is stored in the fridge so you need not worry about flies harassing the food.
Add: 45E, Jalan Ong Kim Wee, Melaka (06-284 1935). Open from 5.30pm to 12.30am. OFF Tuesday.
We headed back to A Famosa Resort after the satay celup. We were full to the brim! But we have already planned for our lunch the next day.
