Internal affair….yes literally!
You know how sometimes you think of certain food, then you can immediately find friends for it?
It is a wonderful feeling!

Our first station to pack the food – Kedai Makanan Ah Heng @ Off Jalan Raja Laut.
It opens from 5.3opm onwards until 1am.
In the menu, there are: Black pepper pig stomach soap, pig’s trotter vinegar, braised pork ribs with bitter gourd, braised pig’s trotter with radish, braised pig’s trotter/intestines, wine chicken, curry chicken and etc.

The boss and and the pots!
Since we decided to eat in the comfort of home, we packed some dishes from this stall.

Braised pork belly and intestines.
The gravy was not overly thick and you could almost drink it! And being cooked for quite a while, the meat and intestines were soft and juicy. And the intestines had no typical smell of the intestines. YUM!

The next hit was braised pork ribs with bitter gourd.
If you are one of those who is afraid of bitterness, the bitter gourd here tasted NOT like the typical bitter gourd at all. In fact, it was just softly soaked melon and the pork ribs were lean ones.

For the pig’s stomach pepper soup, it was REALLY peppery! We almost got choked a few times after drinking it.

Looking for a 5-star coffee but can only afford a neighborhood price?
Coffee Chemistry Cafe @ Sunway Giza is the way to go.

I kid you not, a beautifully made coffee with art only set you back at RM6.
Yes I am serious!

Imagine all the hard effort to perfect the coffee art?

We had nachos as a starter

My main – Pasta in chicken & herbs – RM10.90.
The sauce was done just right – not too creamy and not too diluted. It certainly beats some of the expensive pastas in the market.
Thumbs up!

If you are looking for a Valentine’s dessert, or a present you have not bought yet, Baskin Robins might be a way to go!
Being made in a heart shape, it is a 3-layer ice cream with base being the sponge, middle layer is filled with coffee chocolate ice cream, and top layer being the cream.
For a sweetheart with sweet tooth, this can’t really go wrong.
Retails at RM55.90 at Baskin Robins outlets.

For the past rainy weeks, so many people that I know fell sick, including myself. Nothing beats a warm noodle soup on a sick day.
Tang Shifu has been in One-U, located at LG near Cold Storage, since about 3 months back and it can get really packed during the lunch and dinner time.

They have set dinner like this, which consists of a bowl of noodle soup + the side dishes. No rotation for side dishes hence they are always braised black beans and pork.
Don’t be fooled by the huge bucket though, just a normal portion. I love the ginger wine chicken noodles (RM11.90 for ala-carte), warm and homey.
The side dishes come as extra RM2 compared to the ala-carte noodles.
