Warning! If you are hungry, please do not continue, or please do not hate me.Â
I am back people! *waves madly*
Penang trip was ..err..ok. The traffic was really bad as it was jammed and crowded everywhere. Anyway fast forward my trip, I can’t wait to share some pictures!
I have been to Bali Hai a couple times, yeah I know it is not the cheapest place for seafood, but it is the location that we liked.
The spacious restaurant. And you can park your car inside for free!
I like their aquarium section where you can choose your dish alive!
Lobster anyone?
Squids?
Eeeee the shark looks odd. =/
My sisters called them: A pile of rocks. -_-
Ok, now moving on to our dishes of the night. I am not really good at describing stuff but will let the pictures do the talking.
Stir-fried sambal baby-bamboo @ RM15.00.
Fried tang-hoon @ RM8.00
Fried squids @ RM15.00. Surprisingly, it was still juicy and not hard to chew at all!
Crab with salted egg yolk!!!!! 2 pcs of crab @ RM60.00
And the oysters I ordered @ RM5/pc!!! I am the only one in the family who appreciates oysters, the rest thinks I am some freak. I prefer to call it as raw oysters, while my sis said it’s eating oysters alive. The sauces they provided went so well with the oysters!
Yum! Don’t steal it from me!
Ahhh check out the fat claw with the fresh and juicy meat! So many dishes that night I barely touched my rice.
Steamed fish @ RM47.00.
The total bill for the night was RM183.48. Inclusive 5% of service tax and another 5% of gorv tax.

Ooh that looks so good! I’m now craving me some crabs sigh…
I’m not hungry, but I still “hate” you for putting up these yummy photos!
Ah… you gotta spend the whole of this coming weekend in the gym to lose weight.
Well, as a food reviewer, you really need to be able to describe the food, the settings, the value, etc…
I’ve just eaten, and I hate you for making me hungry again!!
Pink Parisian: we need to go satay first!
Gallivanter: noooo dont hate me, think of the birthday cakes
khengsiong: nah must spend one whole month in gym. lol.
MisSmall: ooooppsy!
Lobster.. sure I wan.
Cute pic of you.:)
omg!! crabs~~
argh~~ I want~~
Btw, i think its the first time I see your pic
I just dined in for their dim sum. Have not try the seafood yet. Lobster? Sure!
Oh my all the dishes looks soooo GOOD!
I agree it’s a worthy $$
wow..got shark also ar..terror..
hahaha did you eat a pile of rocks? lol! sounds like the great seafood outing!
Wah, when wanna treat me lobsters? I want the huge steam fish too! and of course the crabs…
Faster, super hungry liao!
Haha, I don’t know how to appreciate raw oyster too
Ooh..the lobsters! So yummy! And last time I went Jogoya, you need a VIP card to taste those lobsters!!
heheh. nice place for colestrol feast. But not really that cheap compare to mainland.
If you come over to Penang, drop by Bukit Tambun, that place you will eat until you puke and you pay much less than that. Erm… it is a fishing village with fresh sea food, don’t expect Bali Hai kind of luxurious restaurant.
[...] may say that it is over-priced, but but, I love the dishes there! My last visit was 1.5 years ago [...]
