Sloppy Chic

I think some of you might have read about this place now, it is the place with a whopping 12-inch Monster Burger!!!

Stepping into the restaurant, it is a cozy blue ambiance, it is the kind of place for chit-chats and catch up among friends.

I always love the concept of the spiral staircase, it just makes the whole place looks even more classic yet elegant. BUT I certainly do not enjoy walking up the spiral steps. :S

I suggest using the upstairs if you prefer privacy, it is spacious and more relaxing!

It didn’t take long for our drinks to arrive.  And they have a variety of fancy drinks.

Banana Wilberry Tea @RM10.90

It is a special mix of wild berry with blended banana. The taste is quite unique as the taste of banana in drink makes everything one of its kind.

Lime Passion Fruit Tea @RM10.90

Frappe Mocha @RM11.90

I love ice blended! It totally cools me down in the hot weather. And mixing whipped cream into the drink is absolutely a bonus.

Cappuccino @ RM8.90

If you love your coffee cold, you can have the ice version.

Hot latte if you like <3

I really like now the restaurant make an effort to carefully decorate their drinks. It has the power of triggering the appetite.

Enough of drinks, now, let’s see their menu.

For starter, we had Chicken Soup with Herbs @RM6.90.

The chicken soup was ok, but I definitely would have preferred a thicker broth though.

Sichuan Noodle with Chrysanthemum @RM9.90

If you are watching your weight, I would recommend you to try this SiChuan noodle.  It is very special as it is cooked with chrysanthemum.  It adds a little fragrance to the noodle and the soup is very light without much oil. And did I tell you I love the roasted chicken?

But…if you have a heavy taste bud like mine, you can request for the house chili on the side. Once added into the noodle, it changes the entire taste of the dish.

The house chili is not only spicy, it is extremely fragrant too! They do sell this jar of chili for about RM10+. Too bad they ran out of chili that night, I will go back there and get a jar for myself next time.

 Kongguksu (Korean Noodle in Soy) @RM12.90

For REAL weight-watcher, you can always choose the safer food – such as this Kongguksu. It is served cold in soya with glass noodle as the main. Grab a slice of apple, a spoonful of soya, and a scoop of glass noodle, it is the best combination. However, I would prefer my soya to be less sweet. As a healthier choice also right?

 Halloween Dinner @RM23.90

If you are into rice or pumpkin, I strongly recommend this Halloween Dinner – fried rice served in pumpkin. And do you know that, the golden color of the rice is not any coloring, every single rice is actually wrapped with pumpkin pulp! It was SERIOUSLY good. It will taste even better if you try it with the house chili! I am not exactly rice person but I ate so much of the rice too.

Stuffed grilled chicken with sausage and ham.

I love the chicken meat itself very much, it was done just right and the meat was still tender and juicy! And I love those mini wedges!

Delhi Fried Rice @RM 23.90

The Delhi Fried Rice contains 3 different flavors of fried rice – lemon, spicy and the normal flavor.

Now…*drumroll* to welcome star of the day.

Cravings 12-inch Monster Burger @ RM25.90.

It was 12″ before cooked, and after it is cooked, it is still a humongous 8″ burger!

Now, you can choose 1 from the 5 different sauces – Sambal petai, Kimchi, Coleslaw, Baked beans and black pepper sauce.

I personally love it with sambal petai! I assure you it is a unique and exquisite experience of eating sambal with burger.

See how tall it is?

Each layer of the burger has different patties – there is chicken, beef, beef pepperoni, chicken ham, vegetarian patty and hash brown stashed in between the buns. You will have to collapse the burger before chomping it down. Unless you have really flexible jaw.  The most notable thing is, the chef prepared all the patties himself! And you can a whole chicken thigh as the patty! Double nice!

New on the menu – Fish and chips.

It may look dry but it is actually juicy and tender underneath the breaded crispy skin!  And the portion says it all.

Grilled Steak with Hot Chili Salsa @RM34.90

What is a complete western food meal without a steak right?

Presenting to you – medium rare steak. Of course, you can make your request to tell them how you would like your steak to be done.

Grilled Lamb with Black Pepper Sauce @RM34.90

And finally a grilled lamb to wrap up the dinner.

Overall, I would say this is a restaurant which serves food that value for money and I will definitely go back there again for the Halloween Dinner and Monster Burger!
