Ever heard of Daniel Boulud? To be honest, many of us never heard of him too.
We were invited to watch the one hour special of Daniel Boulud’s “One Night In Singaporeâ€. It was held in NEO, just beside KFC building at Jalan Sultan Ismail.
Special thanks to Alice George Communication for inviting us bloggers to this special screening of the program which was shown on Asian Food Channel (AFC) on Astro Channel 703 starting from 29th of September.
That’s Hian Goh, Managing Director of AFC, which introduces Daniel Boulud, and the program.
This program is basically about Daniel Boulud’s adventure in Singapore, having a look at our South East Asian’s food culture, specialties, and even meeting up the renowned chefs around this region. The main event was preparing a dinner in an unfamiliar environment in a hotel. I won’t be spoiling the show here, so watch it on AFC!
NEO is built and designed by Federico Asaro who happens to be the owner as well. The design is rather unusual, blending both outdoor and indoor element.
Bloggers busy building network.
The 3 course meal started with appetizer.
The main course which consists of Grilled Wagyu Beef, Scallop and Potato Slice.
Unlike the scallop you taste in most Chinese food, with some mixture of sauce, the scallop is really soft and taste pretty good.
The soft and tender Wagyu beef…
And finally the dessert, strawberries and brownies.
One thing to note is: Being fine dining, the portions are really fine as well. LOL.
But, we pay for the quality right?
