As promised, I went for Dave’s Deli for dinner last night to check out how good is their chicken and gravy. There used to be more Dave’s Deli around but they have all closed down one by one, which I think I know why. Their services are not really good and you gotta Q and order yourself. Plus, they never bother to upgrade their services or renovate the restaurant. It looks a little run down. I think that’s why they are going to extinct.

The chicken set, with 1/4 roast chicken, mashed potato, and coleslaw is at RM12.90, quite a reasonable price. I ordered another set of carbonara pasta with cheese, beef, ham, bacon and meatball at RM15 with a softdrink and a sidedish of your choice. The carbonara was quite good, and the mashed potato came with alotta gravy.

Undeniably, their gravy is very good. But as for the chicken, still can’t beat my ever love Nando’s. Nando’s has the best chicken and sauces ever! Will post Nando’s pictures when I have time. Their extra hot peri-peri is the best sauce ever! *drool* But Nando’s has increased the price of everything, a single person meal with a drink will come to almost about RM20. Dave’s Deli is still cheaper though.

P/S: Btw, Oceans 13 sucks. Total disappointment. Other than Brad Pitt, the story was sucky. Compared to Oceans 12, I think 12 was much better, at least there was Julia Roberts. I fell asleep for few seconds during the show, and I couldn’t wait for it to end. If there is 14, I think I won’t be interested anymore.
