As I have written the Part I on food, the following post will be more about the place itself.
It was already sunset when we finished our dinner. Look how beautiful the sky was! At the left hand side of the picture, there is a long bridge, which they call it ‘lovers’ bridge’. I did not walk there, I was full and lazy.
This is the booth they built for the king of ocean, 海龙王,this is called ‘crystal palace’ 水晶宫,the king of ocean is sitting directly facing the ocean guarding the peace of the ocean. It’s really a statue of a dragon. If you have read any of the Chinese tales, you would have known about the 海龙王 and the princes.
This is a guardian turtle carrying a pineapple, next to the turtle there is the guardian tortoise, also with a pineapple. Pineapple symbolizes prosperity? Well I think so. In the Hokkien they call it “ong-lai”, æ—ºæ¥, which means, moneh moneh come.
There is a pond, more like a pool for the gigantic fishes, I forgot their names. But I think their meat should be hard. =/ There are 8 of them in it, some kids actually touched them, and they seemed to be very tame. But I did not touch it, I need my finger for typing.
If you look up from the pool, there is this statue of.. ? KuanYin? Ma Zu? Sorry, I am not sure. If you think this pic looks lousy and noisy, yes you are right, my phone sucks at night mode.Â
This is the entrance to the seafood restaurant.Â
Hoho I almost forgot to tell you the name, I only remembered on my way back to car. Â
After we left, we went to the newly opened Batu Pahat Mall, it’s really better than Summit Parade in BP, at least this is new and tidy, almost like One-Utama. Â
In conjunction to Mother’s Day, they had some competition, where this bridal shop showcased some of their models. And here is this pretty lady for you to end this entry! Hope you have enjoyed reading this.

[...] I think they have 2 or more temples like this. There must be also a sea-god overlooking the peace of the sea. Just like the one in Segenting. [...]
