SIGH. My one-week long holiday is finally ending soon.
You might think with one week of enjoyment, I shouldn’t complain more right.
But, with all the love and food at home, I always have some big-time post-holiday trauma when I am back at work.
Does anyone else feel like crying every Sunday night with the thought of having to work the next day? :’(
My dad has planned all the makan trips for us.
Ikan bakar was one of the items! Juicy, spicy…ahhh!
Then, the long famous ah-fook satay.
Chicken satay @ 50cent per stick. Juicy, and almost without fatty meat. Who says Kajang satay is the best? Kluang has the best satay now!
And..fried chicken feet!!! 8 pcs for RM5.50.
It might look ewww if you hate it.
Say hello to my foot! It’s crispy and juicy… and it is not scrawny nor dry. The chicken feet has been marinated with ‘lam yu’, and tasted awesome. I can’t believe it is my first time having it despite the fact that I have been living in Kluang for about 20 years.
And hokkien mee is delicious too!
And finally, no need to go all the way to Muar for otak-otak.
At 60cent/pc, it is as good as the famous Muar otak-otak. I guess they must have bought it in bulk and then resell here.
SIGH.
Now, please motivate me to go back work on monday.  Â

Bad timing looking at your post now. Stomach is growling.
It’s only Thursday now. Few more days la. Don’t think about Monday yet.
Braised Chicken feed is nice but Fried chicken feet?? O.o
Would like to try this one day XD
A break from the usual expensive food, huh?
“Who says Kajang satay is the best? Kluang has the best satay now!”
I think the people of my hometown also would say the laksa sold there is better than those in Penang, LOL…
Girl welcome back! Don’t worry it’s FRIDAY today! Don’t need to think about Sunday yet.
The fried chicken feet looks nice. But not many people like to eat chicken feet. I like it very much. Lucky today is Friday! Haha.
Che-Cheh: =( 2 more days to Monday.
Miao: It is as good as the chicken meat! if not better
KS: LOL. yeah a break from prawns. sometimes, the best food may not come from the place of origins. so…i am not surprised if your hometown has the best laksa too!
witch: just 2 more days of enjoyment
CK: im a fan of chicken feet!
TGIF!
For your info, I already started working!! So count your blessings! LOL!
So many nice food! Really, Kluang satay is better than Kajang? Interesting.
If you dont want to be a fatty BOMBOM then better start work.
