Leo’s Cafe is newly opened in SS2, right behind Old Taste.
It’s a pretty neat shop. However, the indoor seats are quite limited, hence they have plenty of outdoor seats.
And gosh, Amber Chia as their ambassador. Man, she is literally on every page of their menu and it somehow feels like an eye-sore. I prefer to look at the food pics, instead of her face in every single page! I know she is pretty, but too much is too much. With their tagline, something like: unlike any other. But i think with Amber Chia as the ambassador, it is more to: just like any other.
Ok…enough of the rant. I like their Cham ice. It has a distinctive taste, which I don’t find in other coffee or tea. RM2.80.
Oh, their bucket rice was on promotion – RM9.80 buy 1 free 1. So I ordered 2 of this for the price of 1! This is mushroom chicken, it is tastier than the minced chicken. The chicken is..tasty and springy.
Minced meat chicken rice. Alotta rice I would say.
I don’t know why this is the Leo’s signature toast. Well, this bread is not crispy, it is basically tasteless, if it is not for the brown sugar coating on top, I don’t think this is nice at all. Luckily it is only RM1.20.
Will I return there? Well maybe, for their cham, and perhaps other food on the menu. They have quite an extensive menu at reasonable price, the drinks and desserts are expensive though.

Wah, nowadays so many people open this type of coffee shop. Who blows up the wind har? Old Taste, Kluang Rail? Or the blogger’s free advertisements?
I also dislike too many model shots in my menu. The focus should be on food!
Their outlet @ Carrefour Kepong “zap lap” liao
What is Cham? Is it a type of tea?
Amber Chia is “overexposed” liao… She is the ambassador for PC (FTEC), office furniture, glasses and this one. She should make herself more “exclusive”…
Anyway, come back to food… may give Leo’s Cafe a try.
[...] Nice post. I linked to you from my site, hope that helps. [...]
