Mother’s Day Celebration in Star House & Restaurant and Passion Fruit Tree
Posted by sloppychic under Food[18] Comments
It’s mother’s day soon! And we had an early celebration back in Kluang. <3 I am home sick already
Presenting to u….the best place in Kluang for crispy duck!
Star cafe & restaurant! It was packed at 7.30pm! We managed to book our table in the noon cause someone else canceled the table. And I guess many people took the opportunity to celeb it earlier in conjunction with labour’s day holiday.
Crispy duck! The skin is crispy and the meat is delicious! Yum! Half a duck for RM21. It is the signature dish of the restaurant.
Wrap it in mini-pao! Together with the gravy and cucumber, it is just so so good! I am missing it already.
Also fish is my favorite!!! RM68 for this big fish, it is so fresh and tasty.
White chopped chicken @ RM38.00. Tasty! They have arranged the meat nicely back to the plate. So you know where your favorite part is.
Their signature tofu @ RM12.00.
Add for the STAR restaurant: 10 & 12, Jln Sultanah, 86000 Kluang, Johor. (07-7723288)
And we bought an ice cream cake for the celebration! <3
If anyone of u is planning to plant a passion fruit tree, here is how it looks like!
And you have to wrapped the fruit up with bags to pretend insect or bee stung. I love passion fruit!

I bought 3 passion fruits from an organic shop in Dataran Sunway 2 weeks ago. Let them ripen at room temperature until the skin turn wrinkled, then it become very sweet! Yummy!

I like your pictures especially thepassion fruit tree. Am tikng of plantng one in my garden but not sure how to go about it yet.
This is one technology that I would love to be able to use for myself. It’s definitely a cut above the rest and I can’t wait until my provider has it. Your insight was what I needed. Thanks
nice pics. i think passion fruit is a vine. we have 2 common kind of this in our place (violet in color, and sour. and the yellow color and sweet. we planted big yellow ones before and made juice out of it. ripe fruit seeds can be dried and be planted. mostly grow in cold places.
they say it has a tree but i still didn’t see one. just saw the pic in internet. thanks and more power to your site.
