When i first saw New York New York, i was in singapore. And few years later, we finally have one here!
New York New York Deli in One-Utama!
A basket of Freedom Fries with cheese and sour cream, RM8.50. So tasty!
A whole rack of roasted spring chicken, RM29.90. It is big enough for 2!
You even have to cut open it yourself. The taste is so original, with nothing else but the original juice from chicken. Not tough to cut since it is quite soft. I wish they had more gravy though.
The whole dining environment is quite pleasant and once you sit down, they serve you with plain water (FOC).Â
Fantastic!
This shop is still quite hidden as the LG has not fully opened yet. It is diagonal to Cold Storage.
Add:Â LG 311, One-U.
Review from others:

Really? I had a totally different experience.
- Service: there is only 2 guys there (1 Malay, 1 dark-skinned foreigner) that were nice. The rest are total Ah Bengs, unsmiling, not that friendly.
- Food: OMG, the sandwiches are CRAP. Very stingy with vegetables (bit of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 1 cheese, looks like Kraft slice), the turkey ham is abysmal and looks dodgy. The “cappucino mushroom” soup is thin, doesn’t taste that good, not value for money. Supposed to be a “must order” item too. The Sprite float (RM8) – ugh. They use some cheapo vanilla ice cream. NOTHING compared to the heavenly float at Bianco (RM11 only).
wow…the size of that chicken looks good
my experience with them is very bad.. i went back there for a second time giving them a second chance.. and it is still bad!
check my blog about this place

Haven’t been there. But two guys here give it bad ratings. I guess I’ll wait and see…
Freedom Fries? I thought that is an outdated name?
(After Sep 11, right-wing Americans were unhappy that France did not support them. So they renamed French fries to Freedom fries.)
eh i cant believe that i duno about this place..one u is my second home! haha is it non halal..please say yes
aw: O_o that’s a sad experience. i was tempted to order the sandwiches but later decided to just go with the chicken.
Yani: for 2 yeay
Calvin Kong:O_O aight, guess the chances of me returning are very very slim now
KS: i think i have heard of the french fries thing, but anyway it’s just another name on the menu, and since most people have bad ratings, i think u shall not go there. lol
kampungboycitygal: lol. one-u is my 2nd home too! sadly, it is non-halal. and with so many bad comments, are u willing to challenge it?
I feel that NYNY is so so only…abit overpriced.
a see in contrast in opinions..yeah end of the day it is a matter of see if its suit ur palate or not..the whole chicken looks good!
I was there for lunch on Christmas day. Service was slow, the fries sucked, and I think they gave us the wrong pizza.
I thought it was just teething problems because they were only open at least a few days when I was there, but it’s still like that until now?
Another new eateries at 1U? Arghhh…. when am I going to try all of them?????

Finally! we’ve this New York New York in Malaysia.
The spring chicken looks so delicious, must try it ^^
The problems with them are the cook and the waiters, I think. If they improve the cooking and give better service, everthing is solved! Am I right?
fuyoh I long heard of it.. but
after reading the comments here it seems like its a very bad to go.. @@
I’ve never heard of this place; thanks for sharing, Xin!
What i feel is that its overpriced and the food is ok/normal, not that bad. They do offer free candy floss too.
Looks like they sell tabasco and other stuffs on the shelf in the background.:)
Trin will have the fries now!:)
Original taste of the chicken? I’ve never eaten such chicken! Then it must tasted rather raw? =/
ok the fries got me
Bad ratings? I scare not, wait till I give them a try!
Whole chicken for 1 person? Wow! But looks a bit dry? I don’t mind giving it a try if I pass by that shop when I’m hungry! : )
That’s a huge chicken.
i recently discover a new outlet nearby NyNy with similar pricing but tasted MUCH MUCH better… visit my blog again some time next week.. kekeke..
[...] article of New York New York Deli was featured in the first issue of BestFoodJunction.com mag (July issue). A page of my article! [...]
