suet li, that's being unfair to us bloggers if you're saying we bloggers are going to be click fraudingthe campaign. if you all (that's to both NN and Advertlets) are not comfortable with click fraud, then just don't do it (CPC). Google has a good system in place to detect click fraud and that's where u see people getting banned left and right for having invalid clicks. no argument there (since the ban is for life). even if you all are not able to handle such a thing, you all shouldn't blind side the bloggers regarding whether the campaign is CPM or CPC. that's just plain unprofessional.

as for people screaming 50 cents per click, i think this time round, the issues isn't regarding the 50 cents. it's regarding how we bloggers are not informed if it's a CPC campaign. it's like being led blindly into something we never signed up for. it almost sound like a scenario where a con-salesman who will come into your house, sell you A and later without u knowing, slipped in B, C, D, E and F.

i believe this is a lesson NN (and Advertlets) should learn from. Yes, there are die hard bloggers out there supporting you. but you ain't Apple yet with horde of zealots worshipping your every steps.

[...] Since the launch of CPC ads by Nuffnang, I noticed difficulty in differentiating between a CPM and CPC ad myself. There is simply no indication on the banner ad itself or even in the email notification sent by Nuffnang. This was also felt by a slightly frustrated chic. [...]

I'm an outsider in this but I've been keeping a close watch on the local blog-advertising industry.

I think blog owners have the right to know if theirs is a CPC or CPM model. It's misleading and unfair to 'hide' this from the bloggers' knowledge.

To tackle click-fraud and all that are a different story altogether.

P/s: I actually agree that RM0.50 per click is quite a good deal.

Just my $0.02. Cheers.

When you sign in with either Nuffnang or Advertlets, you will be served with either CPM or CPC ads (or both concurrently, if you have more than 1 ad). There is no mention that you can choose to be served with only CPM or CPC ads only (I could be wrong).

Anyway, a small tip to (hopefully) help improve your earnings. Currently your Nuffnang banner is displayed only in the front page of your blog (ie. http://sloppychic.com).

The banner doesn't show up when your visitor clicks on a blog post (eg. http://sloppychic.com/?p=143).

If a visitor enters your blog through a link on PPS (eg. http://sloppychic.com/?p=143), they will not be able to see the banner. If the banner don't show up, there is no possibility of a click, true?
