I have always passed by this shop, but I have never really stepped into this shop before, and I finally made my first trip there.
They sell mostly nyonya type of chinese food. For a starter, we ordered this 6 pcs ‘paiti’. The name is funny i know. But i fell in <3 with this since the first and only time i had in the chicken rice shop. It is popiah filling but with crispy crust. Nice. RM7.50 for 6 pcs.
There are some set menu actually. This is cantonese fried yee mee, RM8.90 with a drink, a choice of barley or cincau. Quite tasty, especially the noodle was fried till crispy before they cooked. And, this yee mee is thinner than the usual yee mee.
This is sambal chicken rice, RM9.90 with a drink. I wouldn’t say this is damn good. Just average.
The cendol at RM4, i think it is expensive. Might as well go to the road side stall and have this right.
If you have budget around RM10 with a drink, I think their set is quite the good choice.
Oh, by the way, their service is not so efficient.

the paitti ..it has been so long i have forgotten such a dish exists
The EE Mee looks awesome!
Not too bad for the price.
There is one restaurant selling similar Nyonya cakes and desserts in Kluang, but not a Peranakan ring. Much smaller and cheaper.
BB: I love paiti now!
Friedbeef: yes, i would go for the ee mee next time i go again.
Jason: Yah, rm10 budget is kool
