Hello guys! Sorry for the long absence. Been busy
I have quite some long post ahead. So maybe another time.
My friend has told me about this Chilly Pan Mee shop for quite some time, and finally I had the chance to go. Yeah i know ‘chilly’ sounds abit off. But the noodles are not cold at all!
The before-pan mee, looks boring and pale. It comes with a refillable soup too!
After adding a chunk of chili, I got greedy and added too much. And only was told that the chili was freaking hot, so, I scooped out half of the chili for the fear of burning my stomach.
The after! It tasted really good and hot!!!! I was told that the noodles are hand-made…and oh yeah i smashed the runny egg yolk and mixed with the noodles too.
A bowl of pan mee @ RM 5.50. Ahhh now I am craving for more!
Pan mee anyone?
p/s: The next morning I suffered from some stomach upset and it took me 3 rounds to flush the chili out!

WOW looks so goody good.
I wonder if without chili will still taste good.
take it easy with chilli..well known for making many surrender to the toilet and giving the bottom abit of heat too!
Another blogger (witch) also wrote about chilly pan mee. Coincidence or is it really popular?
It does look great.
Che-Cheh: LOL no i dont think it will taste any good without the chili, but try i shall next time!
lotsofcravings: indeed! but if any lesser with chili, the kick just wont be there either. no toilet runs no kick!
KS: hmmm think it is just co-incidence. LOL. but according to my friend, the shop is popular. and it was great too!
There is one at Taipan too near Nam Heong Chicken Rice, but I think no “Super” in the name.. my family went there once, said it was not nice :/. Claimed the pan mee was too chewy… and alot of MSG. Hope it isn’t the same one.
eh.. i din know the soup is refillable over there…
I have tried the chili pan mee at KL near Jalan Raja Chulan. I forgot the name of the food stall already. But, the pan mee there really nice.
From your picture, I am interested on the egg in the bowl.
ladyviral: wow so bad? but this i had did not contain too much MSG, at least i didnt constantly feel thirsty after eating it
Calvin: u have been there too? ask for more soup next time!
keeyit: hmmm there is a famous one called kinkin pan mee or something in kl. havent been there though. but the noodles tasted even better with the poached egg smashed!
I really dare not add too much of that chili flakes =.=”
Looks nice! Will try it next time I go there : )
Looks good. Will give it a try soon!
