Some days ago, I have finally got the chance to visit restaurant King Crab in Taman Mayang, or Taman Mewah with my family.
And the food there was awesome!
Claypot tofu – medium @ RM15. Really tasty and flavorful. We wiped the claypot clean!
Stir fried lotus roots and mix vege – medium @ RM15. The lotus root is crispy and tasty, i bet they must have used plenty of oil in this dish. =/
Roasted chicken – half @ RM25. I think this chicken is fried/roasted whenever it is ordered. the skin was quite crispy and the meat is really juicy!
What’s king crab without crab?
Kam heong crab @RM43/kg, with 2 crabs. The claws were quite huge compared to the ones I usually eat. But too bad i did not capture a photo of the claw as my hand was dirty. 5 of us wiped all the plates clean!
One thing bad was: food was served quite slow, but it was worth the wait.
A bill for 5 including tea + rice + napkin=RM140++.

I like food served at King Crab. Good quality.

The price of the crabs are on the higher side

A lot of people say the food there is nice, but price quite expensive. I have yet to try. Will try one day! : )
i used to patron this restaurant b4 they become King Crab.. back then it was a nice cheap family tai chow.. then a big boss came and bought the business, retain the crew and make it a big/more expensive restaurant, King Crab.
food is ok.. but it got more expensive compare to last time b4 they convert

So where is Taman Mewah? China? Malaysia?
How is this compared to Fatty Crab?
ooh, precious pea is a regular here, with VIP privileges! so far, everytime i been has been with her, so we always get VIP treatment, and food.
The best crab dish I’ve ever had is this restaurant along old klang road called hai ping. Their special sauce is to die for!
