For the first time, i am visiting some other bak kut teh shop beside the one in klang that i always frequent. This Teck Kee is located in Kg Subang.
Our pot of goodness. But too bad there was no fu-chuk
and they ran out of yao-char-guai too. The taste was not bad though. The soup was quite clear and non-oily.
Love their fried garlic oil on the vege.
And also a plate of ang-jao-kai (red wine chicken). And it was really tasty! This is certainly something that i have never tried in other bak kut teh shop. Please pardon me the over-exposed picture. Everyone was hungry and so i did not take a second shot.
The bill for 4 persons came to about RM60+. I think the plate of chicken is expensive. Will I return there? Well, if i am not passing by there then i guess i won’t go there on purpose. It is quite far from everywhere, so….try it if you ever pass by there!

Looks nice. I think this Teck Kee is quite famous, cause I’ve heard it many times from my relatives. Perhaps I should try it some day.
ahh, i’ve past there before, haven’t had it though.
Where is Kg Subang? Subang? hehe I mean near where?
the red wine chicken looks yummy!
yea, where is it abt in kg subang? or do they have a branch somewhere?
Horizon: OH? i didnt know its fehmes
KY: can try next time when u pass by there
Cheh-Cheh & Pris: Kg Subang is actually near subang old airport (thts what ppl describe to me). I don’t think they have a branch somewhere though
Never heard red wine chicken , only knew rice wine chicken
Kg Subang further away from Klang? Where do you live?
Looks nice…. although I am not really a pork person.
yeeeesh!!! BAK KUT TEH!!!!! I WANTTTT!!!!
Looks delicious, but I’m trying to cut down on pork these days. Looks like this post is not going to help me : )
mimid3vils : hmmmmmm…lol. got lah, got red wine mee suah also right?
Khengsiong: well…kg subang is in shah alam i heard, i stay in between pj/kl
Neo: u chicky?
ahBONG: go get!
foongpc: haha
im sorry. but why cut down on pork?
If you stay in between PJ/KL, I suppose Kg Subang is nearer compared to Klang. Am I right?
Cos pork is red meat and I’m cutting down on red meat which is unhealthy.
