Sloppy Chic

Over the weekend, I was up in Genting Highlands for Jan Lamb Yes I Do Standup Comedy in Malaysia 2010.

If you have no idea who is he, here he is. Jan Lamb Hoi Fong is a DJ, pop singer, actor in Hong Kong.

Armed with 2 tickets, I booked a room for a price of RM240 because it was a super peak season! Ouch!

And believe it or not, traffic was mad heavy started from Batu Caves.

Did you know that: Now, if you book your room online, you can just check in and the express check in kiosk! All you need to do is to insert your IC (if you booked the room), then a receipt will be printed. From there you can check your room number and do keep the receipt to claim your breakfast if you are entitled to.

The show started at 8pm and I did not know what to expect at all.

I watched some of his videos online and they were badly recorded, hence I could not see anything.

And to my surprise, the hall was full!!! I thought no one would bother watching a standup comedy, especially since he is only a Hong Kong star.

Soon, the show started with his logo lit in the background. Nice!

His performance was awesome, and his jokes were funny as hell! I could not control my tears as I was watching. And he is also a great singer.

I believe watching him live should be a lot funnier than watching on the youtube.

And his not so-mysterious guest – Eric Kot. They are actually in a duo called -  軟硬天師. (Softhard)

The standup comedy turned into a mini-concert with them rapping and dancing.

Overall, I think it was a good show, and I certainly enjoyed every minute of it
