Sloppy Chic

Inspired by Sex and the City 2, the partnership between SKYY Vodka and the second edition of the Sex and the City film reached another city. We had the pleasure of attending the event of Skyy Vodka launch. It was a glamorous event held in Sultan Lounge of Mandarin Oriental as there were a couple of celebrities there as well!

Soon, the lounge was packed with guests. Fingers food was served and there was free flow of cocktails.

There were some mini-games with exciting gifts and Stephanie Chai was the emcee of the night. She was hot!

Let’s see the signature cocktails inspired by Sex and the City 2 mixed with Skyy Vodka.

A classic cocktail with a sweet and colorful twist, the Glamour Gal is a girl’s best friend. Always uniquely dressed for the occasion and decked out from head to toe, she makes an entrance like only a true New York fashion maven can.

Glamour Girl – Carrie

2 oz. SKYY Vodka
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
0.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
0.5 oz. Simple Syrup or 1 Tsp. Sugar

Rim a martini glass with Crème de cassis and sugar**. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into the martini glass. Finish the cocktail with a drop of Crème de cassis on top.

*Crème de cassis can be replaced with Chambord.

**To rim the martini glass, first dip rim of glass in a shallow dish filled with Crème de cassis and immediately place rim in another shallow dish with sugar, rotating the glass to ensure the whole rim is covered with sugar.

1.5 oz. SKYY Vodka
1 oz. Fresh Orange Juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup or 1 Tsp. Sugar
1 Lemon Squeeze
5 Raspberries

Squeeze and drop lemon squeeze into a cocktail shaker. Add raspberries, SKYY Vodka, orange juice and simple syrup/sugar with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass. Squeeze lemon disk over drink skin side out to spritz cocktail – then bend and drop into drink. Garnish in addition with a raspberry lightly dusted with powdered sugar on pick.

Busy Beauty – Miranda

2 oz. SKYY Vodka
3 Red Grapes
2 Basil Leaves
0.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
0.75 oz. Simple Syrup or 1 Tsp. Sugar

Muddle grapes and basil leaves in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add SKYY Vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup/sugar with ice and shake vigorously. Double strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a basil leaf on the surface of the drink.

Strutting her way down Fifth and Madison, a classically styled Pretty Princess is easy to love and impossible to ignore. Bubbly with just a hint of the dramatic, this drink is refreshing, with a dash of the bold and unexpected matched only by its lovely Sex and the Cityâ„¢ inspiration.

Pretty Princess – Charlotte

1.5 oz. SKYY Vodka
3 oz. Lemon Lime Soda
1 Lemon Squeeze
0.25 oz. Red Wine

Squeeze and drop lemon squeeze into a cocktail shaker with SKYY Vodka and lemon lime soda. Fill cocktail shaker with ice and stir. Strain into a tall Collins glass with fresh ice. Float red wine over top of drink as garnish. Serve with a skinny black straw.

At the center of a love/hate relationship that’s impossible to resist, no man makes or breaks a woman’s SKYYline like the always-dapper Mr. New York. A not-so-classic elixir that keeps our girl on her toes, this drink is big enough to handle any black tie affair.

Mr. New York – Mr. Big

2 oz. SKYY Vodka
0.5 oz. Wild Turkey 101
0.75 oz. Cola
2 bar spoons Maraschino Cherry Juice

Combine SKYY Vodka, Wild Turkey Bourbon, cherry juice and cola into cocktail shaker with ice and stir. Pour into a double rocks glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
