Invited by Shirley from Prince Hotel and BBO, I had the chance to spend time breaking fast with some kids, and also to enjoy the mooncake from Tai Zi Heen, Prince Hotel.
It’s also my first time testing the 5-stars mooncake!
Hong Kong White Lotus Paste and Single Egg Yolk @ RM21+/pc.
I was really fascinated by the clear egg yolk and the clean cut. It really resembles the moon!
Five Varieties Nuts, Rum & Raisins @ RM22+/pc.
Again, look at how sharp the knife is? There is not a single sesame sticking from the mooncake slices.
I am not a fan of nuts, in fact they are my fear factors. But I took a bite of a slice, and I was surprised that it was not as sticky as the regular ones. Great!
Chrysanthemum Lotus Paste with Chinese Wolfberries @ RM21+/pc.
This is the traditional lotus paste but with a hint of chrysanthemum and also mixed with wolfberries. They are good for eyes.
Low Sugar Hong Kong White Lotus Paste @ RM19+/pc.
For the dieters, this is definitely your choice now. But I wish it could be much less sweeter though. It is just a little less sweet, not to the extent of tasteless.
Red Bean with Green Tea Paste @ RM20+/pc.
Awwww I really love the combination. It looks like a jade moon.
Mini Snow Skin Mooncakes with Bittersweet Chocolate and Whiskey @ RM15+/pc.
Mooncake with whiskey! Can you beat that? It actually tasted like having drinking real whiskey, without the…tough-to-swallow feeling. If you know what I mean.

Mini Snow Skin Mooncakes with Vanilla Custard and Gummi Bears @ RM11+/pc.
And look at this! Gummi bears in mooncake!
This is specially cater for children, and it is really…sweet.
Mini Snow Skin Mooncakes with White Coffee with Macadamia Nuts @ RM12+/pc.
Love this too!
And there is also Mini Snow Skin Mooncakes with Mango Cheesecake and Mini Snow Skin Mooncakes with Strawberry Custard with Aloe Vera.
I didn’t manage to take the others as my battery finally died…..at the last photo.

I love mooncakes, but not the ones where there are egg yolks in it. But yeah, EXPENSIVE!
The nutty variety mooncake look delicious and healthy. I am not a big fan of that but will buy one this year.
