Yee Sang Fatt Seafood Restaurant, Jalan Gajah Off Jalan Yew
Posted by sloppychic under Food[19] Comments
Being quite sicked off the food in shopping malls, I decided to explore the hawker outside the mall, and upon reading so many raves on Yee Sang Fatt Seafood Restaurant on haveyoueaten and lotsofcraving, i knew this is the place that i had to go.
With the help of GPS, there we went!
It is quite a hidden place, not easy to find if you are not familiar with KL roads.
It is directly oppo this church. However, you are not able to see this church from the main road.
After settling down and ordered food, a curry-puff man appeared and i was deeply attracted.
So i bought a whole tray of curry puffs!
Just joking. I bought one to share
for RM1.50.
EGG in curry puff! Love it! Love the crispiness, and it did not taste oily. Although i know it is. It is quite similar to the curry puff in SS2.
YUM! My fav! Siong tong lala! It is lala cooked in soup, together with ginger and garlic. The soup was awesome and I licked the plate clean! RM12 is totally worth it. I saw another table ordering 2 plates of this!
Kailan in oyster sauce, RM8 or 9.
Belacan/sambal fried chicken for RM10. The chicken was juicy and not dried. Lovely. However, i did not taste any shrimp paste or belacan in the chicken.
Even the chicken breast was quite juicy!
The bill for 2, with 2 white rice + one soya was RM34.20. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Add:Â Jalan Gajah,
off Jalan Yew Pudu
Kuala Lumpur 55100.

Oh I was just there the other evening too! Had to have the fried chicken hehe… We had fried chicken, sweet sour pork and a vege with a soft drink and rice and it was only RM29.50. Absolutely worth it I say!
Is that ‘chu yau cha’ on the kailan? Ohh all look very sedap.
wahhhhh, so many fried lard on the veggie!!! So this version of veggie not healthy anymore, haha XD
Pink Parisian: the chicken is oh so lovely!! and i saw many people ordering tauhu too. i will definitely go back there to try other food!
Che-Cheh: yeah and i thought the pork lard is quite gross
mimid3vils: =/ the pork lards are big big turn off. i expected boiled vege + some oyster sauce poured over only
Bless be to lala!!
I love the curry puff… can find them at a lot of food stalls these days. Not sure if they are from the same “factory”?
The lala doesn’t look spicy, i love spicy one. It covers the smell sometimes.
The currypuff looks just like a croissant to me.

another killer dish is their fish head…a must try..
Gallivanter: ^5 for lala!
Harmony: the ginger and garlic in the lala totally killed the fishy smell already
Monica: yes yes luv the curry puff!
molly: yeah i agree that the kailan is unexpectedly oily.
KS: 238, lol, i never thought of that! brilliant!
lotsofcravings: me no big fan of pork lard, it is a turn off for me. steamed fish head is the killer? i saw many ppl ordering it. i reached at about 7.20pm, and it only took 15 mins for my food to arrive
